What is CRUSOE ?

CRUSOE is an online tool for research data repositories willing to apply for CoreTrustSeal certification, or simply to use CoreTrustSeal criteria to assess and improve their practices.
This tool was developed under the aegis of the Open Science Committee of the French Ministry in charge of Research, and funded by the French National Fund for Open Science. It has been developed and will be maintained by the Data Service of the Midi-Pyrénées Observatory.

What are the main features ?

• Completeness: The tool allows you to fill in the 16 criteria requested for the CoreTrustSeal certification.
• Versioning: You can keep the different versions of your file to track your progress.
• Sharing: You can work collectively on your file and share it with your partners.

Who can use CRUSOE ?

CRUSOE is free and open. Everyone with a valid ORCID and email address can create as many repositories as needed.
