Goal
CRUSOE is a free online help tool for research data repositories who want to prepare their file for CoreTrustSeal certification, or simply use the CoreTrustSeal criteria to know their application better and improve their practices.
This tool was funded and developed under the aegis of the Open Science Committee (CoSO) of the French Ministry in charge of research.
Who can use the tool?
The application is open to anyone with an ORCID identifier or an account of the RENATER Education Research Federation.
Engagements
- Correct operation of the tool. This operation is checked regularly in an automated manner.
- Secure deposits. The information provided on the certification files and the files deposited is done in a secure manner. Security includes authentication and empowerment aspects.
- Long-term backup of certification reports.
User engagement
Users of this service offer undertake not to disseminate without authorization any information obtained by using CRUSOE.
Repositories that have not been in operation for more than 10 years will be removed.
